I've been asked to share these two sims a few times, so now I'm finally getting around to it.

This is Dennis and Michelle Sharpe, parents of Roxie and Edwin Sharpe from Academie Le Tour.

Michelle is also the older sister of Stella Roth, and daughter of James and Sally Chesterson.

Dennis has a strong dislike for Stella's husband, Morty, and as a result Michelle and Stella haven't seen each other in years.

Both of them are Fortune sims.

Castaway Build Bundle that doesn't conflict with Life Stories build bundle!

Hi there!

A small update to the Castaway Stories collection. There are 16 floors in the CS build bundle that conflict with floors that are found in the Life Stories build bundle that Argon @ MATY made. This updated bundle fixes those conflicts:

I won't be updating the main download as it's very huge to reupload, and you only need this update if you also have the LS stuff in your game. :)

This is a collection of ALMOST* all the extracted Castaway Stories Stuff for TS2 that I was able to find.

Most of it is from MATY, but there's also a few other sources, like Gwenke, HugeLunatic, shastakiss and HoneyWell. I've tried to find the best and most functional versions possible of everything.

I've also made a few fixes myself, like making sure the modular stairs show their price and description in the catalog, and updating the bookcase, potty, changing table and mirrors to have all EP functions.

I've also done some slightly unortodox recategorizing of some objects. This is because I started sorting them to my own liking, and was about half-way through before it occured to me to share this. Hopefully you won't mind too much.

NOTE: There is some stuff in the architecture folder, which you can recategorize into Deco/Misc or something if you don't have AL or M&G.

There's also two collection files, one for build (walls/floors/doors/windows/columns) and one for buy/build mode objects, which should make it very easy to find things. cs_corefuncs.package is a file that's required by several of the objects Pescado extracted, keep it somewhere that makes sense.

There is a separate folder with all the recolours for objects that are already in the game.

Clothing, hair and full face makeup is also included (and it all works), as well as a few custom foods, and hyena dog breeds.

You can put the Build/Buy stuff in your Bins folder to remove the custom content stars. CAS stuff is decustomized, and is labelled as BV content - DO NOT DELETE THEM IN CAS OR BS.

Remember to put the script files for the modular stairs in the correct place. If you don't know how to do this or what the Scriptorium is, please google it.

* I say ALMOST everything because I have excluded objects that didn't work correctly, or that were cloned meshes from the main game where the only difference was a recolour, as this seemed redundant. There's also no default replacements of any kind, or careers included.

If anyone finds anything that I've missed, please let me know! If things don't work right, and they're not any of the objects I mentioned fixing above, keep in mind that all of this stuff was extracted by lots of other, talented people who are not me, and it's very possible I won't be able to fix it. But you can let me know anyway.

Been busy, and haven't had much simming time, and even less posting-time/energy. Poking away at Riverblossom Hills a bit right now, but I'm still RIDICULOUSLY far behind on posting updates on that, and I'm a bit behind on my Pleasantview/Strangetown on Tumblr too, so I don't want to play that until I'm caught up.

I kinda wanted to do some sims stuff for Halloween, but it doesn't look like that'll happen. Maybe some delayed stuff sometime in November. Although I guess my Specter and Beaker house makeovers are spooky enough?

I've been busy doing a Major Apartment Cleanup before starting my new job yesterday, plus trying out a new game, so not much time for sims, let alone posting. Things should gradually get back to normal from now, though, and I'm starting up TS2 for a couple of hours now. Hooray!

Oddly enough, I didn't get the random numbers on the newest pictures I uploaded to Photobucket... Of course, this is a different account, but I don't see how that would matter. Have they changed their minds? I'm confused, but not complaining.

Riverblossom Hills: Ottomas/Smith (R7)

Thanks to smart_spell's excellent tip of using Photobucket's "Generate link codes" action, posting pictures is quick and easy once again! So here, have an Ottomas update.

First a little picture of the newest family member, Benny the puppy. <3

Sharla's attempt at cooking breakfast for her younger siblings doesn't end well.

Later that day, it's time for yet another new arrival...

Meet Lisa Ottomas, the seventh child of Peter and Samantha. Dora would be proud.

David makes a visit from college to meet his youngest sibling.

You guys... Seriously?

Well, this definitely means it's time to upgrade the house. The family inhertied quite a bit of money from Dora, so they can afford it. Here's the second floor before makeover. Very crowded! Lisa shares her parents' room, Sharla and Tommy share the blue room in the middle, Matthew has the pink bedroom to himself, while Teesha, Melvin and Dion are all crammed into the bedroom in the bottom right.

Downstairs, pre-makeover, is nice and open, but maybe not the most space efficient.

Matthew, it's nice of you to fix the TV, but I need you out of the house so I can completely rearrange it.

There, everyone's out for a fun playtime in the yard... Dion appears to be chased by a skunk.

Post makeover. The Ottomas home now has three floors!

The third floor has separate bedrooms for Dion (top left) and the twins (bottom left), while on the right is a big nursery for Lisa and her soon-to-be little brother or sister. Another bathroom will be useful too.

The second floor isn't TOO different, but Tommy and Sharla now have separate rooms, which they appreciate.

The first floor has a separate kitchen now. And a fireplace. Dora's urn sits on the mantelpiece, watching over her family.

Lisa's birthday comes quickly!

Yep, she's an Ottomas all right.

Peter and Samantha look forward to the arrival of another little one...

Sharla isn't so sure how she feels about it, though. She knows it means even more work for her.

WTF Photobucket?

I just noticed today, as I uploaded images to photobucket, that it adds a string of random characters at the end of my filenames now. Summerdream_037.jpg now becomes Summerdream_037_zps77b7be58.jpg. WHY PHOTOBUCKET? WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME? This means that instead of copy-pasting my image links and just replacing the number, I have to go back and forth to Crapbukkit and copy each link, which is a strain on my time, patience, and arms. I can't find any information about this wonderful new "feature" or how to, god forbid, turn it off.

Is this yet another punishment for not having a paid account? Some sort of anti-hotlinking device (a poor one, in that case), because everyone should be viewing Photobukkit pictures at their wonderful Photobukkit site? Why couldn't they at least ask if I wanted this first, or provide an easy way to MAKE IT STOP? RAGE.

These joyous news makes Oberon finally get around to something he's been meaning to do for a long time... Propose to Titania. After all, the two of them already have two adopted children, so it's about time.

Puck and his girlfriend Hermia, making out in Bottom's room... I'm sure she'd be thrilled if she knew.

Bottom IS thrilled about her future younger sibling, though. She hopes it's a girl - she already has a brother!

*pop* The birth will have to wait until next round.

Since several people thought it would be a good idea, I'm going to make some collection posts with links to my Tumblr updates, so non-tumblr folks can easily find them. I'm not quite sure what the best way to do them is, yet, but I thought I might sort the posts by family and maybe make an archive with links in my sticky post or something. Let's open with a picture of Isabella on her exercise bike. Her OTH is Fitness. But really, this update is mostly all about the new arrivals...

After the Montys got rid of the horses (they're just not the same as llamas, okay?), the stables were left empty, so they adopted two homeless dogs instead. Sarah and Danny Crittur! Let the training begin...

Romeo is quite the artist... Runs in the family, I guess. Cooking is a form of art, too.

Mercutio finishes up the last of his schoolwork before high school is over...

Teaching the Critturs to behave is not so bad if you have a separate place to lock them up where they can't cause havoc, and quickly teach them "come here" so you can command them to eat pet food. The Montys soon have well behaved and happy dogs.

Patrizio may be retired and prefer leaving most of the cooking to his wife, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten the art.

Sarah has a surprise for the family...

Puppies!

They're two girls and a boy, named Dianna, Demeter and Socrates. Demeter is the one with the shiny fur (I think), the two others look identical.

Nearby, in Antonio's house...

The twins being twins. These two really are the best of friends.

Antonio invites his new and very young girlfriend over for a date while the kids are at school. He'll never forget Hero, but it's time to move on.

Beatrice and Benedick both get A+ report cards, and rush off to tell their proud father.

Prank calls?

Homework is still no fun. Beatrice in particular hates it, she's not as bookish as her brother. She is yet another Monty artist, as is her aunt Bianca.

Speaking of Bianca... Her love life is progressing nicely as well.

She even decides to introduce Leod to her parents.

The twins are enjoying the very rare snow.

For the twins' birthday, Antonio has gotten them a kitten. This is... uh... I think it's Bonkers. Those three adoptable kittens in the default adoption pool look identical. :/

Everyone gather around for the birthday of Benedick and Beatrice!

Bonkers (possibly) doesn't care.

Teen Benedick has some definite similarities to his cousin Romeo.

Leod creepily stares at teen Beatrice. :| She rolled Romance. Benedick is Knowledge, I think.

Delilah makes a good first impression on her possible future father-in-law.

And Bianca and Leod sneak off to her bedroom for some "alone time".

RBH/Veronaville: Capp & Capp, Regan (R7)

At the Capp mansion, Goneril remains in charge of things.

Tybalt makes some new friends... It's not easy to find friends in Veronaville, so it's a good thing Riverblossom Hills isn't too far away.

Ottomas invasion! Poor Tommy isn't used to girls who are quite as assertive as sisters Juliette and Hermia.

Miranda tries to cheer up a sulky (as usual) Tybalt.

An unusually hard winter in Veronaville. (I changed the seasons from Sp/Su/A/W to Sp/Su/Su/A after the end of the winter.)

Tybalt leaves for college.

Although they're similar in many ways, Hermia and Miranda don't always get along. Hermia thinks Miranda might be after Puck Summerdream's affections...

Hal's birthday! I think he rolled Fortune. One of these days I'll write down the stats for all these sims, there's too many for me to remember it all.

It was also Ariel's birthday.

Room arrangements have been changed. Miranda and Hal now share, and Desdemona and Ariel share (Juliette and Hermia still share, too). The nursery is empty, but Albany is not so secretly hoping to fill it again...

Also just realized there's no pictures of Consort. He's still alive, honest.

Meanwhile, at Regan's much more modest house...

Following Bianca's advice, Kent searched the contact ads and got in touch with Cyd Roseland. The two of them get along splendidly.

Introducing him to his sister and Cornwall is a little more awkward, though... There's no denying Kent's sexual orientation now. Even though they all knew about it, it wasn't really something the Capps liked to discuss.

Regan and Cornwall's love has produced results.

Regan is... thrilled, as you can see.

Cornwall is a lot more excited, though. He's hoping for a boy, while Regan's hoping for a girl - but knowing her luck, it will be a boy, and one more thing that both Cordelia and Goneril have bested her at.

Haven't forgotten...

I haven't been posting here much for a while. >_> There will be more RBH updates soon, I've just kind of been having a little break, I guess? Like I've said before, I have far more sim stuff I would like to do than I have time for actually doing it, so I have to pick and choose, and lately I've been making over Strangetown and slooooowly trying to get my downloads under control (without much success). Those makeovers can be seen over on my tumblr. (Am I the only one who doesn't really care for the word "simblr"? I dunno why.) I was thinking about posting some of them here too, though. What'cha think?

Anyway. More RBH/VV soon, promise.

RBH/Académie Le Tour: Powers/Sharpe (R7)

Time flies when you're having fun. Roxie and Jonah have reached their Senior year, and have somehow managed to not fail.

They are keeping up with their grades, even if it's just barely.

Edwin is, as ever, the studious one. He stays out of his sister's and her boyfriend's way, keeps his head down, and works on his perfect A+ term paper. He's not very sorry that the two of them will soon be graduating, leaving him to enjoy his last year at college without their constant annoying presence... but he doesn't really want to stay in the house alone when they leave, either.

Pizza? That can only mean one thing...

Party time! Roxie and Jonah love throwing parties, and there's time for one last, big one before graduation.

Everyone is having fun, and Edwin and Marla have eyes for nothing and no one but each other! It's the first time Edwin is actually enjoying one of his sister's parties.

Soon after, Edwin makes a decision. He'll spend his last year back at the Romara dorm, where Marla is staying.

Roxie tries to clean up a little before her graduation party...

Family and friends are all invited!

Roxie's parents are glad she managed to pass, but they both think she could have worked harder and gotten better grades. Now they want her to find a direction in life, a job, a career, not just keep slumming it with Jonah. They try to be "nice" about it, but Roxie doesn't appreciate their criticism. She bluntly tells them that her direction is her own and it's none of their business.

The party is over, and Roxie and Jonah both transition.

The taxi takes them away... to a new life as adults in Riverblossom Hills.

RBH/Académie Le Tour: Flexor/Indie & O'Feefe (R7)

At the house of roommates Max Flexor and Mitch Indie, there's a party going on tonight.

For once, Tom Freshe takes the spotlight.

Edwin and Marla find each other... Edwin is still secretly pining for Delilah, but he realizes she's never going to settle down with him.

Jacob and Jean Curry appear to be having some disagreements, probably related to the rather uncomfortable breakup with Sandra.

Alas, neither Max nor Mitch find anyone to hook up with during the party.

The next day... Back to routine. Mitch works on his "art"...

... while Max cleans up after yesterday's activities.

Mitch has had the hots for Sandra Roth for a while, and figures now that she's single, he has a chance.

But he's shot down!

At least he'll always have Max, huh? Max is unlikely to give him those six children he wants to see grow up and get married and give him grandbabies, though... But Mitch is far too cool to complain about those things out loud.

Delilah is enjoying her solitary life in her tiny, rented house.

Still, she gets lonely from time to time... She sees Gabe O'Mackey every now and then, but she never meant for that to last very long. He's not the type she wants to settle down with (his daughter is almost her age, that might get awkward), and if she sticks to it much longer he might get clingy. So she looks in the contact ads for something interesting...

... then settles down to work on her assignment.

The very next day, her date from the contact ads arrives. He, too, is an older man. Delilah prefers it that way, they're experienced, sophisticated, not so juvenile and needy as the likes of Edwin Sharpe and Mitch Indie.

Their date is fairly brief and ends on an innocent note, but Delilah quickly decides she likes Antonio Monty. Perhaps she sees a future with him...
